Plain answers to the questions people ask before, during and after buying.
Our Clarifications page answers the questions about frequency, materials and the claims other people make, so we do not repeat them here.
A piece of furniture you lie on, sit on, or carry with you, with a sound and vibration instrument built into it. The sound comes through headphones. The vibration comes through the surface underneath you, from positions driven independently, in a session composed for several senses at once. Six systems are on sale: VAVE Nidra, VAVE Nest, VAVE Go, Great VAVE, VAVE Lounge and VAVE Perch. The first five each have their own page; Perch's details are with sales.
The technology underneath every VAVE. MRFT, Multisensory Relational Frequency Technology, is a delivery technology: frequency as a sensory input, carried on independent channels, each matched to what that sense can receive. What MRFT controls is the relationship between those channels. MRFT has a page of its own, which says what the technology requires of a system and what we decline to claim.
The runtime. VAVE OS keeps every sense in time, holds the safety limits and the session history, and, where enabled, runs the biofeedback layer. ResonantVibe develops VAVE OS.
No. VAVE systems are general wellness products. They are not medical devices, have not been cleared or approved by the FDA, and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate or prevent any disease or medical condition. We make no therapeutic claims, and we publish the list of what we have not measured.
Patent-pending. The platform application covers the structure. We do not say "patented" until a patent issues.
Assembled in the USA with US and imported components. ResonantVibe is in Denver, Colorado.
No, and no. There is no single tone that is uniquely yours, and no frequency is privileged in a session. The longer answers are on the Clarifications page: why our tactile range starts where it does (we chose not to go lower), and why the company is called ResonantVibe when the platform is not resonance technology.
Four. VAVE Mer · Ka · Ba is self-guided. ActiVAVE is guided and active, with you doing something while the session runs. VAVE Practice has a practitioner operating the system live, and is the one format that is always live. VAVE Extended is the longer form, in phases, with a trained operator present throughout. Live or playback is a mode, not a format. Every VAVE runs every format.
Sessions are named for what they are for: a session for times of grief is exactly that. VAVE Mer · Ka · Ba sessions sit in four categories: Rest, Restore, Explore and Flow. ActiVAVE classes have categories of their own, named for the class: Yoga, Breathwork, Meditation and Self-Bodywork. VAVE Practice has two, Bodywork and Attunement, each named for the practitioner's work the session accompanies. VAVE Extended has its own four, listed on Session Formats. Sacred Sounds is a tag, not a category: any session can carry it, and the tag marks where the sounds come from.
VAVE Mer · Ka · Ba sessions suggest up to 45 minutes of vibration, a precautionary limit set by ResonantVibe pending medical review. Talk, silence and guidance don't count; only the minutes the platform is vibrating. At 45 minutes the App lets you know, and you confirm to go on. We set that limit ourselves, and we will revise it when a medical review tells us to; it is not a clinical recommendation, a therapeutic dose or a safety threshold. VAVE Extended, with a trained operator present throughout, has no time cap.
Every VAVE system comes at Hum, the standard level, at which the platform plays below 65 dBA in the room, the level of a normal conversation. Two higher levels, Sing and Ring, exist; the owner sets them in the device configuration in VAVE OS through room calibration, and raising the level above Hum is the owner's choice and responsibility: the room, the neighbors, any noise rule, and hearing protection for anyone else in the room. What your walls, door, floor and ceiling pass depends on your structure and materials, and we publish no figure for it. Any session plays at any level; the level is how far up its range the deck plays, never which session plays. A session plays at Sing or Ring only when the device's room level allows that level, the participant is in headphones lying still, and everyone else in the room wears hearing protection while the session plays. VAVE is an instrument, and not every instrument can be played in every space, so every VAVE system can be locked to a room level in VAVE OS, Hum only; Hum and Sing; or Hum, Sing and Ring, and it never plays above it; only the owner's account can change it. Your headphones carry the whole session at every level. Every VAVE Mer · Ka · Ba and VAVE Extended session plays in headphones from start to finish; without headphones, the session does not start.
Then lock the system to Hum only, and every session plays at Hum: the deck stays low in its range, your headphones carry the whole session, and every session stays yours to choose. VAVE is an instrument, and an instrument sings: the sound is designed, not a defect. Read how a VAVE sounds in a room before you order. Room calibration, in the device configuration in VAVE OS, is how you set Sing or Ring: calibration plays each level in your own room before you choose. If you are unsure, hear a session first. Bought as a consumer, a standard-finish system can still come back for any reason inside the change-of-mind window of our Terms of Sale. After the window closes, and for a Custom Order after delivery, the room is not a ground for a return or a warranty claim.
Three compositions. Mer, composed for grounding: every channel moves as one, and the same shape returns. Ka, composed for activation: the channels part, each changing on its own, so you cannot predict it. Ba, composed for integration: one channel holds a steady shape while the others move inside it, and they come home to it. VAVE OS sets the voice-overs, drop-ins and gain to whichever is playing. Before your first session the owner sets the room level on a calibration sample, and your first sessions come as a short intro program at the level the owner chose: Mer, then Ba, then Mer, Ka and Ba. Each is a session run to its end; after the program, any session, Ka included. The program comes before VAVE Mer · Ka · Ba, ActiVAVE playback and VAVE Extended. VAVE Practice and live ActiVAVE play at Hum with a practitioner or lead present, and do not wait for the program. We recommend choosing a session with a Ka only once you can complete a Mer session and a Ba session comfortably: emotion can surface during activation, so begin a Ka session knowing that, and every session with a Ka ends with Ba.
Nothing. You lie down. The operator, or you, presses play. There is nothing to practice and nothing to get right. What the session is like from there is yours to notice.
No. For personal use, the App is the whole of it: choose a session, choose the system it plays on, set the options you want, and press play. Nothing to learn. The supervised sessions, VAVE Practice and VAVE Extended, are run by a practitioner, and a practitioner gets access to them only after completing VAVE Curator training with us, on site or remotely; we do not certify practitioners, and we do not say that we do.
Ten sessions, on the Base tier, with every system. They never expire and they are never subscription-gated.
Some ActiVAVE sessions use a prop, the way a yoga class asks you to bring a block. We do not sell them. Each session publishes its own requirements; in a live session the Curator-certified lead checks them before the session starts, and in playback you check your own.
Adults 18 and over. All account holders, session participants, and guests must be 18 or older. There is no pathway for minors.
Yes, before every session, on your own device, including for guests. Before the first session, every account holder reviews and accepts our General Medical Disclaimer, Waiver & Health Acknowledgment, and a guest without an account accepts the same form on their own phone. If you report certain health conditions, the App records the condition and lets you proceed only after the recorded condition-triggered acknowledgment described in the General Medical Disclaimer: physician clearance confirmed, or risks accepted. No automatic modality protection is claimed for sound or vibration, the modalities available today. Light/photic modalities and PEMF are planned modalities and are not currently offered; if and when either is introduced, a hard block will apply, and in each case that block can never be overridden. Read our Contraindications & Safety information before your first session.
We do. The vibration limits, including the floor of the tactile range and the level ceilings, live in VAVE OS, set by ResonantVibe, and are not adjustable by an operator, a practitioner, a session file or an app setting. A session can be more conservative than the ceiling. Nothing in the room can make it less. There is an immediate stop control, always, and it keeps working with no internet. An owner can set a device below them, to Hum only, and never above.
At any moment. The stop control cuts the drive immediately.
On each system's page, with everything that has to be read beside them. Great VAVE and VAVE Lounge are Custom Orders, priced with you. There is no separate pricing page.
How do I order?
You submit an order for a standard model from its page. Submitting an order does not process a payment and no card is taken on the website. We send an order confirmation stating what you specified and what it comes to, and the confirmation carries an ACH payment link. A VAVE system is paid by ACH bank debit only. Custom Orders are specified and quoted with you before anything is submitted. A quote is valid for 15 days from the quote date.
A note on availability: VAVE systems are pending FCC equipment authorization. Delivery to the end user is conditional upon successful completion of the applicable equipment authorization process.
VAVE systems are built to order and delivered 30 to 60 days from your Order Confirmation, and orders are open now. Great VAVE and VAVE Lounge are built to your design; your quote sets the delivery date, within 180 days of confirmation. Your Order Confirmation carries one specific delivery date, calculated for your location, and we hold ourselves to that date. We tell you about any material delay and send tracking when it ships.
Currently shipping within the United States.
Before your system ships: at any time, for any reason, full refund, no fee. Once your system arrives, you have 14 days to return it for any reason, for a full refund. From day 15 to day 30 we still accept returns in like-new condition with the original packaging, with a deduction for condition. You pay return shipping on a change-of-mind return. If anything arrives defective, damaged or incorrect, we pay return shipping and repair, replace or refund it. Report damage or a missing item within 7 days of delivery.
Cancel within 7 days of Order Confirmation for a full refund. After that, cancellation before shipment is subject to documented costs. No change-of-mind returns after delivery. You acknowledge this before the order is taken. A deviation from the standard finish makes a standard model a Custom Order, and we say so at the point you choose it.
Ask for a demo at sales@resonantvibe.com. More than 3,500 sessions have run at no cost, at events and community gatherings, since mid-2024. People commonly describe sessions as calming and grounding. These are experience reports, not research findings, and individual experiences vary.
Five years on metal structural components. Two years on all other components we build or supply. One year on upholstery and cushioning, for manufacturing defects. The warranty runs from first delivery and is personal to the original purchaser. A part replaced under warranty carries the remainder of the original term. Certified refurbished systems, sold by us directly in the United States, carry one year. The Limited Warranty is the instrument, and where this answer and the instrument differ, the instrument governs.
On a claim we accept, standard shipping both ways is covered. You book the return leg with the carrier and we reimburse what you paid, up to the standard ground or economy rate for that route. If you choose something faster, the difference is yours. If we ask for something faster, we pay for it. If we do not accept the claim, the return shipping is yours.
Remote first. The system reports its own health, and remote diagnosis on a warranty claim is free on every plan, including Base, for the full warranty period. Where a part has to change, it changes on site: the design is modular, so a faulty part is swapped without shipping the unit back. On-site visits are arranged case by case. Service windows are targets, not guarantees, and create no service-level commitment.
The InteraXon Muse S Athena headband is third-party hardware we resell in a bundle. InteraXon's own manufacturer warranty covers the headband, and a fault with the headband goes to InteraXon. Anything about the system itself comes to us. Inside the return window, a headband bought with your system returns like anything else you bought from us.
No. Every new safety measure we develop ships to every unit, free of charge, on every plan.
No. Your system works without one, and it always will. Base is included for the life of the system, at no charge: your account, your sessions, the ten-session starter package, session history for the current day, and every safety update. Base is not a trial. The App is free today. Paid tiers come later, and you will never need one to run your system.
VAVE Home, for a household. VAVE Pro, for a practice with one or two systems. VAVE Center, for centers, clinics and venues at multi-system scale. Each will add session history, content and operator features on top of Base. None is on sale today; the App page will carry each tier's details and price when the tier goes on sale.
Your system keeps working with no internet. Sessions play from the system's own copy. Cloud features need a connection. Synced sessions across locations are on the roadmap and will need one too.
Two things, and we keep them apart. Biofeedback integrated: VAVE OS reads your biometrics and shows them to you, before, during and after, with the difference kept in your session history. The session plays exactly as authored. Biofeedback informed: within limits we set, when a monitored signal crosses a threshold, VAVE OS can pause the session, lower the level, or bring in recorded guidance from material composed and reviewed in advance. It writes nothing new while you are on it. This layer belongs to VAVE OS, not to MRFT.
Where it is enabled, a layer on VAVE OS, not on MRFT, reads your heart rate, and with a compatible headband your EEG. It shows you the readings before, during and after, and keeps the difference between them; readings are informational only. Through selected practitioners the layer can also act on what it reads, within limits we set, including prepared drop-ins, and writes nothing new.
No. Readings are informational only. They are never a diagnosis, never categorized as normal or abnormal, and never judged against a clinical threshold. A difference between two readings does not by itself show that the session caused it.
You. Turning biometrics on and being able to see them are two different permissions. A practitioner sees your readings only with your individual consent.
The InteraXon Muse S Athena headband, sold as an optional bundle with a system. The headband is not required; every session runs the same way without it. What it reads: heart rate, and EEG. The Muse S Athena is made by InteraXon and ResonantVibe is the reseller.
The biosensor headband is made and warranted by its own manufacturer, not by ResonantVibe. Biosensor features are open to trained practitioners today, at no cost. We collect biofeedback readings only after the person's separate consent, given in the VAVE App, and only to run the features they choose. Read our Biometric Data Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.
Practitioner-enabled today. Purchased systems receive the biofeedback software as an upgrade, with enablement by subscription. A home release by end of 2026.
We never sell your personal information, including biofeedback and health data, and we do not use advertising trackers or data brokers. Your session data is uploaded tagged only with a pseudonymized session ID, encrypted in transit and at rest, and stored separately from your identity. The Privacy Policy, the Biometric Data Policy and the Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy are the instruments.
There is published research on sound and vibration as an approach, and none of it tested this device or any commercial device. We do not present that research as validation of ours. We ran a small pilot; it was not IRB-reviewed, and we say so. Our research arm, RESONAID, is in formation and will register studies before data collection and publish results either way.
VAVE OS, developed by ResonantVibe, is designed to grow. PEMF, red light and VR are on the roadmap. None is currently offered, included or purchasable, and none has a date.
What a session does inside you. We build the delivery path, we measure it, and we publish what it delivers, including the measurements we have not taken yet. The full list is on our Clarifications page.
You apply, we verify who you are and what you do, you complete VAVE Curator training, and you become a Program member. We do not certify practitioners and we do not say that we do. Applications: sales@resonantvibe.com.
