Perch starts as a chair we buy and convert into a VAVE: furniture for an office or a waiting room, the platform for a person sitting up. Perch runs the same technology as every VAVE, MRFT, Multisensory Relational Frequency Technology, on the same operating system, VAVE OS, developed by ResonantVibe.

Perch plays the same sessions, at the same levels, as every VAVE. The sound is designed, not a defect: the instrument is built that way. How a VAVE sounds in a room.
The standard level. Every VAVE system comes at Hum: below 65 dBA in the room, the level of a normal conversation.
A higher level. The owner sets it in the device configuration in VAVE OS, through room calibration.
The other higher level, set the same way. Raising the level above Hum is the owner's choice and responsibility.
Three levels.
The level is how far up its range the platform plays, and any session plays at any level. Every VAVE system comes at Hum, the standard level, at which the platform plays below 65 dBA in the room, the level of a normal conversation. Two higher levels, Sing and Ring, exist; the owner sets them in the device configuration in VAVE OS through room calibration, and raising the level above Hum is the owner's choice and responsibility: the room, the neighbors, any noise rule, and hearing protection for anyone else in the room. Your headphones carry the whole session at every level. Every VAVE Mer · Ka · Ba and VAVE Extended session plays in headphones from start to finish; without headphones, the session does not start.
What a room hears.
What your walls, door, floor and ceiling pass depends on your structure and materials, and we publish no figure for it. Perch has not been measured, so set its room level the same way.
Lock it to your room.
Lock Perch to a room level in VAVE OS: Hum only; Hum and Sing; or Hum, Sing and Ring. It never plays above it, and only the owner's account can change it. Locked to Hum only, it plays every session at Hum. Lock it once, and never worry about the noise.
Decide before you order.
Not every room can take every level. A shared wall, a lease or a building rule may mean Hum only, and then Perch is working as designed: the sound is not a defect and not a warranty claim. If you buy as a consumer, a standard-finish system can still come back for any reason inside the change-of-mind window of our Terms of Sale; after the window closes, and for a Custom Order after delivery, the room is not a ground for a return. The standard Perch finish: details with sales. Any change is a Custom Order, with different and narrower return rights, acknowledged in your order document, before we take the order. Structural components are fabricated to order; allow 30 to 60 days for a structural replacement.
Modalities and sensors
Sound and vibration. Light and photic, PEMF and VR are planned modalities, not offered, not included, not purchasable.
Where you enable sensing, yes. Biofeedback sensing is available as a bundle with this system. The sensor is the InteraXon Muse S Athena headband. The headband is not required; every session runs the same way without one. What the headband gives you is a record of the session alongside the session: not a diagnosis and not a score. Where sensing is enabled, VAVE OS reads the signals and acts on what it reads, within limits we set. The headband reads heart rate and EEG.
Sensor bundle, price to come, ordered with the system. The Muse S Athena is made by InteraXon and ResonantVibe is the reseller. The headband carries InteraXon's own manufacturer warranty, so a fault with the headband goes to InteraXon and anything about the system itself comes to us. Inside the return window, a sensor bought with your system returns like anything else you bought from us.
The biosensor headband is made and warranted by its own manufacturer, not by ResonantVibe. Biosensor features are open to trained practitioners today, at no cost. We collect biofeedback readings only after the person's separate consent, given in the VAVE App, and only to run the features they choose.
