VAVE Nest and Nest Plus
Level with the floor, so the room stays a room.
Nest is a 3 × 7 ft platform set into a 7-inch raised floor on elastomeric supports. Nothing stands up out of the space. People walk onto the platform, lie down, and get up without stepping over furniture. That is what makes Nest the model for studios, clinics and practice rooms.
Two models.
MRFT, Multisensory Relational Frequency Technology, is the technology underneath every VAVE. VAVE Nest 4 and VAVE Nest Plus 6 are named for their MRFT engines' channels; the number after the dot is the configuration, its vibration positions. VAVE Nest 4.2 has 2, and VAVE Nest Plus 6.4 has 4.

Nest 4.2 cannot be upgraded later. Two vibration positions is permanent.
This is the one decision on this page you cannot revisit.
Nest 4.2 runs on the MRFT 4-channel engine and takes no bolster, at order or afterwards. Both vibration positions sit in the deck, and two is where Nest 4.2 stays for the life of the system.
Nest Plus 6.4 runs on the MRFT 6-channel engine and ships with two bolsters, for four vibration positions. If you might ever want more than two vibration positions, choose Nest Plus 6.4 here, once.
Audio arrives separately, in two channels, on both models, and never counts as a vibration position.

A Nest sits inside a 7-inch raised floor, and the floor is what makes the platform level with the room. The raised floor is not included in the system price.

In the box
Nest 4.2. Platform, yoga mat and cushion pad, electronics box, volume knob, power cable, headphones, two eye masks. A foot rest is extra, priced at order.
Nest Plus 6.4. As Nest 4.2, with the MRFT 6-channel engine, two bolsters and a foot rest.
Not included. The raised floor, which is the build service above. The Streamer and the Core are not part of a Nest. Sensors are an optional bundle, ordered alongside the system.
One standard finish. Anything else is a Custom Order.
The standard Nest is a charcoal gray powder-coated platform with a beige cushion pad and a gray yoga mat. Nest Plus 6.4 adds two beige bolsters, the same beige as Nidra's. Any change is a Custom Order, with different and narrower return rights, acknowledged in your order document, before we take the order. Structural components are fabricated to order; allow 30 to 60 days for a structural replacement.
VAVE is an instrument, and an instrument sings.
The platform is a continuous aluminum deck. The metal that carries fine detail to your body holds the energy rather than absorbing that energy, and that is also why a room hears the deck. The sound is designed, not a defect: the instrument is built that way. How a VAVE sounds in a room.
The standard level. Every VAVE system comes at Hum: below 65 dBA in the room, the level of a normal conversation.
A higher level. The owner sets it in the device configuration in VAVE OS, through room calibration.
The other higher level, set the same way. Raising the level above Hum is the owner's choice and responsibility.
Three levels.
The level is how far up its range the deck plays, and any session plays at any level. Every VAVE system comes at Hum, the standard level, at which the platform plays below 65 dBA in the room, the level of a normal conversation. Two higher levels, Sing and Ring, exist; the owner sets them in the device configuration in VAVE OS through room calibration, and raising the level above Hum is the owner's choice and responsibility: the room, the neighbors, any noise rule, and hearing protection for anyone else in the room. Your headphones carry the whole session at every level. Every VAVE Mer · Ka · Ba and VAVE Extended session plays in headphones from start to finish; without headphones, the session does not start.
What a room hears.
What your walls, door, floor and ceiling pass depends on your structure and materials, and we publish no figure for it. A Nest in its raised floor has not been measured.
Lock it to your room.
Lock Nest to a room level in VAVE OS: Hum only; Hum and Sing; or Hum, Sing and Ring. It never plays above it, and only the owner's account can change it. Locked to Hum only, it plays every session at Hum. Lock it once, and never worry about the noise.
Decide before you order.
Not every room can take every level. A shared wall, a lease or a building rule may mean Hum only, and then Nest is working as designed: the sound is not a defect and not a warranty claim. If you buy as a consumer, a standard-finish system can still come back for any reason inside the change-of-mind window of our Terms of Sale; after the window closes, and for a Custom Order after delivery, the room is not a ground for a return. You confirm you have read this before we take your order. If you are unsure what your room can take, hear a session first.
Modalities and sensors
Sound and vibration. Light and photic, PEMF and VR are planned modalities, not currently offered, not included, not purchasable.
The same as Nidra: the InteraXon Muse S Athena headband, optional, reading heart rate and EEG, with InteraXon's manufacturer warranty and our return window. The headband is not required; every session runs the same way without one.
The biosensor headband is made and warranted by its own manufacturer, not by ResonantVibe. Biosensor features are open to trained practitioners today, at no cost. We collect biofeedback readings only after the person's separate consent, given in the VAVE App, and only to run the features they choose.
